The Terras Gauda winery was founded in the O Rosal Valley, within the territory encompassing the Rías Baixas Denomination of Origin, and their 160 hectares of vineyards are on granite, quartz, clay, and metamorphic schist soil.
This lovely lady that I have for review is 70% Albarino, 20% Caino Blanco, 10% Loureira, and it's got an ABV of 12.5%.

It's light gold in color with a slight tint of lime green. On the nose there's aromas of white flowers, orange blossoms. melon, pears, lemon peel, and ginger. On the palate it's medium bodied with an weighty and oily mouthfeel. There's flavors of green apples, lemon-lime soda, honeydew melon, and cream. Then it finishes with tart green apples and a soothing creaminess contrasting each other wonderfully.
I seriously want this stuff in a glass on my porch in the summer while I grill some oyster florentine. It's got a creamy profile but still has a very present tartness. And what is my favorite thing in a wine? CHARACTER! It's got it! If you're up for dropping $26 on white wine then give it a shot if you see it.
